This sweet little guy is Moesley. Like many companion animals today, he ran into trouble when his human had to move to an assisted living situation, and he wasn’t allowed to go with her. Passed around between family members for several months, Moesley adjusted to a stable life in his foster home amazingly quickly.

Moesley is a 10-year-old, 21 pound wire-haired Dachshund who enjoys playing in the yard, going for walks, and most of all sitting by your side on the sofa while you work, watch TV, or do whatever keeps you sitting with him. Moesley rides well in the car and is crate trained. Moesley is neutered and up to date on his vaccines and will be micro-chipped prior to adoption. He is not accustomed to children, so needs a home with adults only or older children.

Moesley is posted for R.E.D.-Rescue Every Dog and is in foster care in Kitsap County (Olalla), WA. He has done very well with the large dogs in his foster home, and with visiting dachshunds. If you want to offer Moesley a stable, loving home, please complete the application at www.rescueeverydog.org under Adoption.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
