Molly Tzu, an adorable little Shih Tzu, landed in the shelter at age 13 with medical issues – colitis, cataracts and corneal ulcers, terrible teeth, kidney stones and chronic infection – and a lot of fears and stress-related problems. Her Final Refuge family and our veterinarians made a lot of effort to fix her up physically and to get past her stressed behavior with the help of a trainer. After several months, Molly is doing very well! She doesn’t act or look anything like the dog who arrived; it’s so nice to see what love, attention and good vet care can do. We never know how long we will have with these dogs but it is so great to see them be happy and comfortable.

Update:  Little Molly’s body gave out at the age of 17, after 3-1/2 years with her ODH family.  She will be missed a great deal.
