Nikki, a beautiful longhaired chihuahua, came into her ODH family at 13 years of age. She came to ODH with a collapsing trachea, some allergic bronchitis, luxating patellas, and needing a dental – the usual issues with small geriatric dogs coming to us.

Nikki is a very happy dog who loves car rides and walks and anything she can do with her people. She loves ODH events and can fundraise with the best of them. At home, she loves sitting on the back of the couch and looking at the street outside. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and even plays with the cat! When it’s time for a nap, she gets into her overstuffed crate located in the living room where she can still see everything and make sure she is not forgotten by anyone leaving the house.

Update:  After 4 1/2 amazing years, Nikki’s little body finally could not go on.  She brought so much joy to her humans, and especially her Daddy and to so many people who came to know her from her appearances at various events over the years.  She had a real following of folks who came just to see her time and again.  Dear Nikki will be greatly missed and will live forever in our hearts.
