Oliver

Oliver is an 8 year old Shih Tzu who weighs 12 pounds. This cutie has never lived with dogs or cats but we’re told he get along great with dogs in his doggy daycare. Oliver has been exposed to family members’ cats and done fine with them. What Oliver doesn’t care for are young chidren. He needs either a child-free home or one where kids only age 12 and up are around. The young kids in his current home are causing him a lot of anxiety and making him feel as though he needs to protect himself and his evironment. It’s time for Oliver to move on and live in a quiter home.

Oliver would love a home where he receives the attention he believes he deserves. Certainly there’s someone out there who will appreciate and love him! He is fine to stay alone in his home and manage quite awhile before he needs a potty break. He can do stairs and he does well on leash. Oliver LOVES his daily walks.  He sounds like he’s a social boy who loves to play at the dog park with other dogs.Oliver has been trained to go on boats. Perfect for a dog living in the Pacific Northwest!

Aside from loving his toys and being brushed, Oliver loves to snuggle. And who wouldn’t want to snuggle with Oliver?
