Pee Wee

Pee Wee turned up at a shelter as a “stray”, all 10 pounds of her; blind, nearly deaf, thin, and very very sweet. This little girl won the shelter staff’s hearts and then she won the heart of her ODH dad. All too soon it was clear that her kidneys were failing; she was anemic as well but with good care and good food that resolved. She started getting fluids weekly and did well but pancreatitis reared its head and it was just too much for one little dog. Her ODH dad said: “She was loved every day she was with us” – and that was really all that mattered to Pee Wee. She is missed.
