Penelope

Penelope is a super cute, medium-sized black lab/heeler mix who is approximately 8 years old. She has the cutest freckles on her feet, a happy tail, and a distinguished grey muzzle. Penelope is a sweet girl looking for a loving home. Penelope can be a little timid with new people and in new situations, but with a little coaxing and affections she blossoms into a loving, playful girl. She can also be head shy and scared of loud noises so she is looking for a home with no small children. She is typically pretty calm and snuggly. Penelope loves to hang out by your side and enjoys walks and playtime in the yard. If left unattended in a yard she may try to find her way out of a fence, so needs on supervised time outside only. Penelope seems to like other dogs.

Penelope may not have lived inside much before so is looking for a patient, dedicated home that can teach her all the rules of being an inside dog, like house training/crate training, furniture manners, and being left alone.
