Phoenix

Meet the handsome Phoenix! This 11 year old boy is as sweet as they come. Phoenix would do best in a calm home. He has lived with another younger dog and it was extremely overwhelming for him so he would hide. He would more than likely appreciate an older dog as a companion.

Phoenix has some visual deficits due to cataracts; we are told he gets around pretty well in spite of that. Phoenix has lived with children but should only go to a home where his space will be respected and he’ll be treated with gentleness. He does have arthritis in his hips and back legs. Phoenix is taking a daily anti-inflammatory medication and joint supplement that his adopter should be prepared to continue.
