“My name is Pixie. I’m a petite 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix. I say petite because I only weigh about 12 pounds.

“Life was pretty darn good until my people brought home a small human. Since then, things has been different. It’s time to move on. I’m looking for a home without young kids or any other animals. That’s right-I want to be your one and only.

“I’m an active girl. I need daily exercise. I LOVE to run! I won’t do well in a home with someone who wants to be sedentary. I’m a great dog to take on hikes or long walks. When I’ve got my exercising out of the way, I appreciate my bed and blanket to burrow in. Currently I’m spending my day in the laundry room or outside. That’s a drag. I’m hoping to find a home where I’m able to be inside the house amongst my humans.

“Not only am I a pretty girl, I’m a smart girl too. I know many verbal commands. Conveniently, I know how to use a dog door to get out to potty. I usually go out and do my business every 3-4 hours. It’d be wonderful if my new people worked from home or were home more often than not as I’m not happy being alone for long hours.

“I’m hoping to find a new home very soon. I just know there’s someone out there looking for a devoted companion and I’m ready for them!”

Pixie is in Auburn, WA.
