This is 12 year old Pumpkin. Her name suits her, don’t you think? Pumpkin is a pretty, 15 pound miniature pinscher/rat terrier mix who is looking for a new home.

Pumpkin was abandoned at a vet clinic by her lifelong family. Staff at the clinic were able to find extended family who picked her up and brought her to their home. Their hope is to find a home that will suit her better. Pumpkin would appreciate a home where she’s not left alone for long hours. Currently she is kenneled while her caregivers are at work and at bed time too. While she is managing that OK for now, her caregivers recognize this is not fair to Pumpkin.

Pumpkin has lived with other dogs and currently lives with 2. We are told  It is unknown how she would react to cats as she’s never been observed around them.  She is shy with strangers and can take a little while to warm up to new people. Her caretakes believe she’d do best in a quiet home without kids and not a lot of people coming and going.

She does well on leash and enjoys her daily walk around the block. Once she gets to know you Pumpkin is very affectionate. She loves snuggling with her people on the couch or in bed. Pumpkin loves to burrow in blankets. She’s a sweet girl who deserves a home where she’ll be appreciated, cared for and loved for the rest of her days.

Pumpkin is in Woodinville, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
