10 year old Romulus, a 65 pound male German Short-haired Pointer, and Remus an 8 year old 47 pounds, male German Short-haired Pointer, arrived to the shelter as “strays”.

“Hi there, we are very special brothers – Romulus and Remus.  We were found together running the streets, and very much look to each other for support, so we are looking for a home that has room for both of us.  Staff and volunteers are still learning about us, but we seem to be pretty spry and still have the energy to go for regular walks and maybe even chase a ball in the yard.  Got room in your home and your heart for a pair of retired hunting dogs?  We would love to go home with you today!”

Romulus and Remus are in need of dental cleanings and do have a few “old dog” masses that need monitoring. Remus and Romulus are posted for the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County in Tacoma, WA.   Interested families can stop by the shelter or check out the website at www.thehumanesociety.org.

These are not ODH dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
