Rosie
Smart, sweet girl
“Greetings!! Rosie here, checking in to see who might have a soft bed for me, two squares a day plus snacks (ok, maybe a lunch too), and a heap of love to share. Through no fault of my own, I find myself without a home at the age of 14 and I surely would like to get settled in with someone soon! I marched right into my foster mom’s kitchen, wagging my tail and checking around for snacks the minute I arrived. She says I’m amazing and that I’m house trained and a super smart girl. I tap her foot with my paw if I need something. I get along great with the other senior dogs here. I’m walking just fine, but taking some arthritis meds, so a home without stairs is necessary. Other than some hearing loss and blind in one eye, I’m a spunky, happy girl. I like to watch my people wherever they go and I like extra long naps. At this stage of my life, it sure would be great if someone were around home quite a bit, although I’m good for several hours before needing out. So maybe if you’re inclined, let it be known that you need me in your life (and kitchen) and we’ll get it all worked out!”
