10 year olds Rottie and Odie are adorable best friends in search of an adoptive home where they can remain together for the rest of their days. Both boys are said to be about 10 years old. Rottie-(can you guess which one he is??) -is the black and tan chihuahua who weighs about 9 pounds. Odie is said to weigh about 8 pounds.

We are told the pair is OK with other dogs, as long as they are about their size and not dogs who get into their space. No one has observed the pair around cats. Both Odie and Rottie have been good with kind, respectful children.

These boys are good stay at home alone with each other as company. Both can be barky but one should expect that- they are chihuahuas! They are crate trained and will sleep in their crate at night but would be happier to share your bed with you. Neither dog has been vetted in quite a few years so they will need a home with an adopter who will and can afford to do so.

Odie and Rottie both went through basic training at Petsmart. We are told they do well on leash. Neither require much exercise but undoubtedly, they’d appreciate time to get out and sniff new smells. Odie is described as being “very affectionate and loves to cuddle all day with his human”. Rottie is said to be “one of the happiest dogs ever, always wagging his tail; he loves attention and to be held”. The pair likes to follow their person around the house when they’re not cuddled up in blankets.

Rottie and Odie are in need of an adoptive home very soon. They are currently located in Gig Harbor, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

These are not ODH dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
