Roxey is a well-mannered, quiet, little, lady. At 14 years old and around 13 pounds, she’s a great dog for someone looking for a cuddling companion. She enjoys going on short walks then is happy to be by your side or in your lap. While she mostly naps, her foster mom reports that she still likes to play with stuffed animals. She sleeps through the night and is not an early riser. Roxey is house-trained and will let you know when she wants to go outside.

She is good with meeting people and other dogs on her walks. When she was at the Shelter, she nicely shared her kennel with another friendly dog of similar size and energy level. Roxey recently had a dental cleaning and a number of teeth extracted. She’s feeling much better now and is enjoying eating dry kibble again.

Roxey will make a great companion for someone looking for a sweet, mellow dog!

Roxey is posted for the Seattle Animal Shelter. Her Animal ID is #37815228. She is currently in a foster home and not at the shelter.

If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out a Dog Adoption Application, available at www.seattle.gov/animal- shelter/find-an-animal/adopt/applications and email it to adoptionreview@gmail.com.  Alternatively, you may fill out or drop off the application at the Seattle Animal Shelter, located at 2061 15th Ave. W (1 mile south of the Ballard Bridge, at the corner of W.
