Ruby

​10 year old Ruby is a fluffy little love bug! She is very sweet, prefers humans to dogs, and is super quiet. She enjoys short walks and naps. She is a delicate eater, which may change a bit as her mouth heals from her recent dental. She is currently living with 3 senior dogs. She does fine with them as long as they do not get in her face, we feel she would do best without young dogs in the home. She tends to want to lie in her own bed next to her foster moms.

Ruby’s foster family shared this, “She loves treats and is quite treat-motivated. She follows us into the kitchen whenever we get up, being the ever-optimist thinking it must be treat time! Ruby enjoys back scratches and will take matters into her own hands by flopping on her back and doing her own scratching – it will be sure to bring a smile to your face. She will greet you at the door when you get home with a wagging tail. She has good eyesight but we think her hearing is fairly limited. We think Ruby would do best with an adult-only home or one with older children.”
