Rufio

Rufio is a handsome mixed breed guy who weighs 45 pounds and is only 9 years old. He has lived with other dogs but, when meeting new dogs, his first response is to run away. It sounds like Rufio would prefer to be an “only” dog or have a slow quiet introduction to a new friend. Rufio has never lived with cats. He has lived with kids but he does not enjoy young children. He is crate trained and currently accustomed to staying alone for a work day and going quite a while without needing a potty break. Rufio is very much a home body; it is said he seems to not want to get out for walks but he is a very good boy about going out to do his business. He will run around in his fenced yard and be playful but his favorite thing is just to cuddle and be with his people. Rufio sounds like a wonderful companion.
