Are you looking for a lovely companion dog who wants to keep your lap warm? Ryleigh is looking for your lap!

Ryleigh is a 10 pound Lhasa Apso mix who will turn 14 this coming May. Ryleigh has never lived with other dogs and we’re told she wants to keep it that way-she’s looking for a home where she will be the only dog. It is unknown how she is around cats. She is OK with older children who are nice to her but the belief is Ryleigh would do best in an adult-only home.

At this time Ryleigh spends a lot of her days alone. She has a kennel and a hallway where she spends her days. She does this without any anxiety but the hope is she can find a home with someone who doesn’t work long hours. At night she sleeps in her kennel. She sounds like the kind of dog who may enjoy sharing a bed with her person?

Ryleigh requires frequent potty breaks. She will let you know when she needs to get out by going to the door or barking. Just like humans as we age, dogs need more potty breaks as they age as well. Stairs are not always easy for Ryleigh but thankfully, she’s small enough to carry up and down them.

We’re told Ryleigh is still playful, she likes to play fetch with her stuffed toy. What a little doll! We bet Ryleigh will make someone a great new friend. She deserves a home with someone who can give her the attention she would like, someone who can afford any future vet care she will need and someone who will commit to her for the rest of her days. In return they’ll receive her cuddling and devotion.

Ryleigh currently lives in Marysville, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
