Sadie is a 12 year old, 14 pound Shih Tzu/Poodle mix.  She possess all the attributes of a poodle, in looks, long legs, body, intelligence, leaps on couches, beds with total ease.
She was trained to ring a bell when she needed out to potty. In her Furbaby foster home she found the dog door instantly, and is wonderfully housetrained. She may be an older dog, but she is in fantastic shape, physically and mentally.  Since she has all the poodle qualities, poodles are one of the longest living of the small breeds.  Sadie may have a lot of years ahead of her.

Sadie was used to being an only dog, but she could live with a small easy going dog, and she did live with a cat for several years, so that is also a possibility.  All Sadie wants is a quiet home, with a Mom or Dad or both.  She did live with kids, but she found the activity level too much, so visiting children would not be a problem, but she would not be happy in a busy, chaotic home.  Sadie is a sweet lovely girl, who takes a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings, it took about a week for her to fit into her Furbaby foster home and not be anxious. She loves to be where you are, but doesn’t have to be on top of you, though cuddling in your lap does make her happy.

When you come home from your errands, beware, this girl will spin, bark, leap, race around in totally excitement, to see her person home. Sadie wants a loving new home, so she can devote herself to you…she’s just waiting for someone to open their heart and home to her.

Sadie is posted for Furbaby Rescue and being fostered in Blaine, WA. For more information about Sadie, please email: elleny@comcast.net
