Sam is a purebred Siberian Husky. He’s about 10 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. Sam loves everyone that he meets and likes to follow you around in the house. He is the boss in the house and he knows it. He is a big talker, as many huskies are, and you can get him to howl and talk by howling to him. Sam needs a cat-free home but does well with dogs of all sizes. He wouldn’t be a good fit in a home without another bossy dog, however.though, and he should be in a home without young children. Sam has a good amount of energy and needs daily exercise. He does fine with the stairs in his home now but eventually will need help or a ramp when he gets older. Sam is great at going poop outside but is working on his marking habit. He was neutered recently and it is helping a lot but he should wear a belly band inside until the habit is completely formed. He has no problem wearing a belly band. He also is crate trained. His blood work came back perfect. and he isn’t showing any signs of aging yet (arthritis, hip dysplasia).

Sam is being fostered through Main Street Mutt Rescue in Bellingham WA.
