Sasha Snuffleupagus

Sasha wound up in a shelter after her family surrendered her because she got out of the yard when left outside alone for long periods of time. A gorgeous 11 year old husky / golden retriever mix, she spent three months in the shelter before joining an ODH Final Refuge home, where she is known affectionately as “Snuffleupagus” (from Sesame Street). She enjoys being inside with her new family and canine friends, especially mealtime when she will dance for her dinner. She particularly loves going for walks. One of the loudest dogs at the shelter, she has turned out to be very quiet in her new home. She has a lot of lumps and bumps and needs frequent potty breaks, but is well loved and happy to be part of her new pack.

Update:  After 3-1/2 years in her ODH home, beautiful Sasha’s body simply couldn’t go on any longer. She leaves a big fluffy hole in her home and will be remembered with many smiles.
