8-year-old Sasha is a lovely Akita mix who is ready for her forever home. She was surrendered to Homeward Pet when her owner could no longer care for her. She is now ready to start her new life fresh! Weighing in at 68 pounds, Sasha is a gorgeous girl with a plush and soft coat that just begs to be petted. She has been around dogs and does well with most of them, but prefers easygoing companions that won’t bully her or try to push her around. She has also lived with a cat and did well. Sasha prefers a quieter environment, and would do best with just teens and adults as she doesn’t care for the noise and activity that comes with children. Sasha has a low to moderate activity level, and enjoys going for leisurely walks with her people and the occasional romp in the backyard. What she really loves most of all is companionship. Sasha will be a loving and devoted friend for one lucky family, and would be the perfect choice for someone seeking a mellow and laid back pet. Sasha is a special lady who will need a wonderful home that can provide her with on-going medical care – she does need daily medications for some mild incontinence and arthritis. She is a great pooch with a stellar personality, and you will love her at first meet!
