Scamp is a dignified gentleman who is ready to find his forever home. Scamp is 8 years old and weighs 11 pounds. He would love a home that is calm and predictable with very few surprises. Scamp’s perfect family should be willing to take the time needed to lovingly reassure him that he is loved and safe. Once he knows that he is loved he will be your friend forever!

Scamp would not do well in an apartment because he has been known to bark when left home alone. Scamp has impeccable house and leash manners. He enjoys lounging on the couch as much as he enjoys going for walks with his foster family. When it’s bedtime he will cuddle up with you and keep you warm on these cold winter nights.

Scamp has some doggie playmates and would enjoy the company of another calm, respectful dog. His history with cats is unknown, therefore, any cats in the home must be dog savvy and have a safe place just in case he chases. Because of the unpredictable nature of small children his rescuers are asking for a home without children under 13.

Scamp is posted for Save-A-Mutt Rescue and is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA.
