This cutie pie was picked up while he was hobnobbing with a homeless person. Believed to be a sheltie/american ekimo mix, he had an ear infection, bladder infection and tooth infection going on, plus serious matting in his coat, and was severely obese – probably double his healthy weight. The vet also found thyroid problems. Since bladder stones were suspected, the radiologist did an ultrasound and found instead two tumors on his adrenal gland and, unfortunately, one tumor is cancerous.

Scotch was shaved/groomed and is steadily trimming. down. He feels much better! His treatment for Cushings disease and hypothyroidism has also helped. He is a very happy boy now and has the sweetest look in his eyes, truly a joy to have. His ODH family will enjoy him for as long as he is comfortable and happy.
