11 year old Scully is a handsome 85 pound German Shepherd. While Scully has never lived with another dog, we are told he is fine with them. Scully has not lived with cats. He is said to be wonderful with kids! His family’s grandkids and the neighborhood children all love Scully and they enjoy visiting with him.

Scully loves to be active, playing with tennis balls and toys. He enjoys walks and we are told he does not pull on the leash-bonus! Scully does well on car rides. True to his breed, Scully just wants to be with his people, it doesn’t matter where!

Reportedly Scully can manage quite a while before needing a potty break but a senior dog shouldn’t have to “hold it” for too many hours. He can still do stairs and at this point he is not taking any medications. Scully’s adopter should be able and willing to afford lifetime vetting. He’s not had blood work or urinalysis that we recommend senior dogs should have (at least yearly). His owners state he is up to date on vaccines and appears to be healthy.

Not a big barker, he will bark to let you know the mailman has brought the mail. This wonderful boy sounds like he will make a great family dog or a companion for a single person or couple.

Scully is ready for a home that will be for the rest of his life. Surely, his love and loyalty will be a reward to his adopter.

Scully is posted for his owner in Gig Harbor, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
