Shasta is a fun, loving, sweet, and well-mannered purebred chocolate Labrador Retriever who weighs 69 pounds. Even at 10 years old she is still active. She loves her people and gets along with all furry creatures. She was raised with quite a variety of farm animals like goats, horses and fowl, in addition to cats and other dogs. The chickens can be fun to chase, but she leaves the other animals alone. Shasta would make a great family or companion dog. She was surrendered to CASA with her adult daughter Star; a Springer Spaniel/Lab mix who weighs 66 pounds. They are a very bonded mother/daughter pair and must find a home together. Both girls are very well potty trained and lived happily with kids age 5 years old and older. Both girls are super sweet, but Star can be a bit aloof with new people until she knows them.

Shasta and Star are at the Camano Animal Shelter.

These are not ODH dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
