Susie- Q – Adoption Pending

“Hey Everyone! My name is Susie-Q and I am looking for a home. At 8 years old, I just turned “senior” but that hasn’t stopped me from being lively, fun, and playful! I weigh 7 pounds which means I’m not too small but not too big either-I am just right for a lap or carrying when needed.

I get along great with all dogs but cats are my weakness. I LOVE to chase and harass them; so much so that I need to find a home without cats to bother. Surely there’s a cat free home out there for me? I am good with nice children who don’t tease me or won’t play rough with me.

A walk a day is fun. Time to play in a fenced yard is great too. I can manage stairs just fine right now and I can go a few hours between potty breaks. Having company when my humans leave is good. Maybe you have another dog who needs a buddy? They could help show me the ropes in my new home.

I enjoy hanging out on the couch so I’d appreciate a home where that is allowed. I hear some people don’t want dogs on their furniture. I do not shy away from using my voice so if you have neighbors who won’t appreciate barking, please don’t consider me. I truly want a forever home where I can stay the rest of my life. An adopter who can and will afford my vet care and good quality dog food means I could live happily and healthy for a long time to come.
