Thor

Thor is an absolute gentleman of a senior German Shepherd! He loves to greet people and presents his grey muzzle for a good scratching. He enjoys casual leash walks and strutting his favorite toy around in the yard and sleeping in big comfy beds.

Thor came to the shelter in not the best condition, with matted hair, very long nails and definitely obese. He still need to lose weight, and will probably feel much better when he does. He has arthritis and joint pain, especially in his hips, and is on medications to manage it.  He is housebroken, well behaved, has lived with another dog and seems nonreactive to mellow dogs in the shelter; he’s not been around cats.    He is likely to be good with older kids.

Thor is posted for Olympic Peninsula Humane Society in Pt. Angeles WA.   OPHS is appointment only. All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to meet the animal.
