Tiger is a magnificent 10 year old yellow lab in need of an adoptive home. Weighing in at 105 pounds, he’s a big boy with a big heart to match!

While he’s never lived with another dog, he is reportedly social with other dogs he meets-YAY!
Tiger has never lived with cats. He has been great with children and sounds like he would make a wonderful addition to a home where kind, animal-loving children would appreciate him.

Tiger is accustomed to taking 3 mile walks a day. So if you’ve been hoping to find a dog to walk with, Tiger is ready to join you! He is said to be well trained but one should be able to manage a dog his size. Once he’s had his walk, Tiger hangs out inside his home with his people. His family has worked from home so he’d probably be happiest if someone was around more often than not. Tiger is OK to stay alone when necessary, managing a few hours between potty breaks.

At this time Tiger can take stairs. There are dogs who have been stuck outside or rehomed once they could no longer do stairs so we remind people to keep in mind there could come a point in time where Tiger could not do stairs. Ramps can be built but sometimes that’s not an option. Please be mindful of this when considering adopting a dog you are unable to carry.

Tiger is up to date on his vaccines but he has not had a senior vet check with lab work and a urinalysis as we would recommend. His adopter should be able to provide this for Tiger and afford his lifelong veterinary care. Tiger sounds like a very nice dog. He will be losing his lifelong home soon, we hope to help him find a home he can remain loved and cared for, forever.

Tiger is located in Redmond, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is a courtesy post. Tiger is not an Old Dog Haven dog. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
