Trey was a terrier mix who came into a shelter with an incredible amount of “baggage”. Desperately afraid of everything and especially any kind of handling, he hit the jackpot when his ODH family agreed to take him on. They put an amazing amount of effort, patience and love into getting this little guy past his demons. Several veterinarians also made an effort to help him – he didn’t make it easy to treat his medical issues since they couldn’t touch him without sedation. Over nearly two years they made him into a happy, confident fellow – when with them – and he had many adventures. His end came very suddenly, cancer seemed to be everywhere. He will be remembered with a smile of satisfaction in the change his family made in him; they are so glad to have shared their lives with him.
