Trixie

Trixie is a very cute chihuahua who is guessed to be about 10 years old and estimated to weigh about 10 pounds. Trixie is a true homebody, staying inside with her people on the couch. She lives with another female dog whom she is not bonded with. Reportedly Trixie does well meeting new dogs after proper introductions. She has lived with cats but has never been observed around kids.

Trixie has been with her people about 9 years now. They found her on Craigslist. In that time Trixie has not had much vetting at all. Trixie is said to have “skin issues” being treated by her humans with Sulfodene. She needs a home with someone who will get her to a vet and afford and maintain her vet care for the rest of her life. At her age, she’s what we consider a young senior. A chihuahua can live well into their teens when properly taken care of.

A home with someone who will help her remember to get out to potty would be best.

Pee pads are used in the home for both Trixie and the other dog in the home so that’s a bonus.  Trixie is fine to stay home when her people leave the house. She can do stairs and doesn’t expect much exercise.

Trixie loves attention and sleeping in bed with her people. She’s very cuddly and enjoys the couch with and without human company.  Trixie is in need of a new home soon. She’s waiting in Puyallup, WA. for her adopter.
