9 year old Trooper is an energetic guy who would love to belong to a family that will include him in all their plans. This good-looking dude is a Norwegian Elkhound mix who weighs 58 pounds.   Whether it’s going for a ride in the car or relaxing on the couch this guy wants to be right beside you.

Trooper has been friendly with other dogs but he is forward with small dogs, therefore, his rescuers are asking for a home without small dogs or cats.  Because Trooper could knock over small children he needs a home without children under 12 years of age.

Trooper has some arthritis which can make stairs a challenge as he ages, therefore, a home without stairs would be best for him.
