10 year old Turbo is an energetic fella who weighs 71 pounds. He is dreaming of a family of his own. He has a very outgoing personality and thinks that everyone is his friend and he just might be right about that. Turbo has enjoyed the company of other dogs and would probably enjoy a doggie friend. A meet and greet will be required with the resident dogs of any potential adopters. He has been living peacefully with the cat in his foster home and would do well with a dog savvy cat.

Turbo loves going for walks and will need someone strong while he learns leash manners. He is an enthusiastic walker and wants to meet everyone on his adventures. He can’t get enough of the sights, smells and sounds that life has to offer. Turbo is strong and can knock over a toddler without trying so the rescue is asking for a home without children under 10 years of age.

Turbo was recently neutered and received a senior wellness exam including bloodwork. He had x-rays to examine his rear legs and it was found that he had a ruptured cruciate ligament on his right leg and a possible tear on his left leg. He has responded very favorably to weekly Adequan injections. Turbo has learned how to manage fine and doesn’t let his condition stop him from enjoying life. He will benefit from a complementary approach to wellness incorporating hydrotherapy, acupuncture and/or laser treatment to his health care plan.

Turbo is posted for Save-A-Mutt Rescue. He is being fostered in Everett. For more information about Turbo, please submit a Save-A-Mutt adoption application. Adoption applications can be found at www.save-a-mutt.org.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
