Li Check out Turbo! A 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier, this 18 pound fellow is ready for his adoptive home. Turbo’s human passed away a few months ago and family took him in, thinking they could provide him with a loving, forever home. Unfortunately their dog decided that wasn’t going to happen! So Turbo is hoping to find a home where he will be accepted by the resident dog.

Turbo has lived peacefully with other dogs in the past. While Turbo has never lived with a cat, he does well with kind children. We are told he is an easy going boy who is loyal, smart, and affectionate.

Turbo loves cuddling with his human and going for walks. We are told he does “fine” on leash. He appreciates 1-2  walks a day. This breed is known for being active. Turbo is what we could consider a young senior at only 9 years old. He needs a committed adopter who will care for him for the rest of his days. Regular vet care and good quality dog food should be provided and afforded for Turbo. He certainly sounds like he’d make this worth your while as a devoted companion…and he is cute too!

At this time Turbo can manage a few hours before requiring a potty break. He is OK to stay alone in the house without any issue. Turbo has been crated as well and we are told he did  fine with that but we’d bet he would prefer just be left out to hang out until you return home. Turbo can manage stairs at this time in his life because he is still spry!  He will bark at loud noises so if one has neighbors who are opposed to a dog who will bark to alert, he may not be a good fit. Aside from that, we think Turbo sounds terrific!

Turbo is located in Fall City, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is a courtesy post. Turbo is not an Old Dog Haven dog.
We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
