Vinny

Vinnie first came to one of our temporary fosters who got the ball rolling on his medical needs.  He had a broken leg, enlarged heart, a heart valve that didn’t work at all and a cough from the heart problems.  From the beginning, none of this held him back.  He was happy, active, fetched, loved and gave kisses.  When anyone met him, there was always a guessing game about his breed mix, Chi mixed with hedgehog?  On the morning we lost him, he was happy, ate breakfast and went outside as normal.  A half hour later with no notice, he couldn’t walk.  A clot had formed and was blocking circulation to his back half.  His feet were cold and he was upset. He went to sleep the last time eating liver treats until the end.  He will always be loved and missed.
