8 year old Wafer is a delightful girl who is dreaming of a forever family. Wafer weighs 15 pounds. She is loving and gentle and has been a wonderful guest in her foster home. Wafer enjoys the company of other dogs and she would be very happy in a home with another doggie companion. She has met the visiting grandchildren in her foster home and she thinks they are the best thing ever. It is unknown if Wafer has any experience with cats but her rescuers believe she should be fine in a home with a dog savvy cat.

Wafer loves playtime and will run zoomies around the house. She also enjoys the outdoors. She would love a home with a securely fenced yard so that she can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Wafer also does great in the car. A family that will include her in their adventures would make her so happy. Wafer is housebroken but likes company when she “goes” so be prepared for walks and accompanying her in the backyard.

Wafer was recently spayed, is microchipped and is up to date on her vaccines. She will need a family committed to regular bathing and ear cleaning because Wafer is prone to ear infections.

Wafer is posted for Save-A-Mutt. She is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA. If you’d like to learn more about Wafer, please email: elizabeth@save-a-mutt.org or check out their Petfinder link: www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=WA630
