Willie Wonka came to ODH from an owner who said he was a beloved purebred Bichon Frise. He was neither beloved nor purebred, but he IS adorable, cuddly, loving, mannerly, joyous, and best friend to all living beings. After living in a garage (!?!) for years, this 13-year-old Bichon mix, although in terrible health, has grabbed life by the tail. He celebrates every minute of it, and his ODH family giggles right along with him. He LOVES going to Old Dog Haven events, to spread the joy of being part of this terrific organization. Update: Willy’s several medical challenges finally became too much for him, the light and energy left him and it was time to say goodbye. He had a wonderful last part of his life and was loved by so many. Willie Wonka died August 2015.
