14 year old Wryly is a 25 pound beagle. This frosted face boy loves other beagles and he’s good with dogs his size or smaller but he doesn’t appreciate dogs who are larger than he is. Wryly has lived with cats. Wryly is ready for a home without young children.

Wryly has been OK to stay alone while his people are out and about, managing quite a while for a dog his age without a potty break. However, in a new home he will more than likely need time to adapt before he’s left alone. He’s had the same family for 13 years so one must consider his lifestyle change and be patient with him will he adjusts. The belief is, he’d be happier with people around more often than not-and what dog wouldn’t?  We’re told that Wryly can still do stairs but he may need to take them slowly. As one would expect, his hearing and vision aren’t as sharp as they used to be. We are told that Wryly has a slight heart murmur that at this time requires no action.

Wryly does well on leash and he enjoys going for walks. He can do tricks and can follow basic commands. He sounds like a fun boy, doesn’t he? Wryly is a cuddly fellow who likes curling up next to his people. He is a barker, however, he IS a beagle! So one must keep that in mind as part of the reason he must move is his family is receiving noise complaints.

If you know and love beagles and would like to help a senior one out, Wryly is ready for you. But you don’t have to be a beagle lover.  Wryly is open to all people, well, adults, he doesn’t discriminate!
