ODH PERMANENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED:    Yellow lab, neutered male. This guy unfortunately arrived at the shelter very lame with a newly torn knee ligament and evidence of a previous rupture of the other knee.    Knee
injuries need about 3 months of being QUIET (with medication of course) to heal, but he hasn’t found a quiet home where he won’t be bouncing around.    He’s a month into recovery and is using the leg some but has way too much energy if in a busy environment.    We would really like to find him a quiet spot with one or two calm dogs to steady him.    He seems to be nonreactive to cats and fine with calm dogs.   He does NOT do well crated or confined in a small space, but would relax in the right environment and just hang out in the house with company – of course stairs won’t be possible.  He’s housebroken and a loving guy who needs the right situation.   If you could provide it, please let us know quickly.
