Senior Day in the Park is happening on Wednesday, August 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hovander Homestead Park (5299 Nielsen Ave) in Ferndale. The free event features over 100 vendor booths, live music, dancing, and garden tours. A picnic lunch is available for $6. 
The annual festival is a major gathering for older adults in Whatcom County, designed to connect seniors with local health, housing, and recreation resources. Whether you are looking for community programs or just want to enjoy a summer day outdoors, it is an excellent opportunity to gather with the community.

We are hosting an outdoor pop up vendor market as we do a several annually. Outdoor market will be a Mix of vintage, handcrafted, new, candles, soaps, permanent jewlery, 3D printing, signs, plants, art, jewelry etc. 

It is an annual tradition. Old Dog Haven will again participate in this event.  Come and join us.

Every year, hundreds of people participate in Harbor Hounds with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. Or, maybe we should say, hundreds of dogs participate with people of all shapes, sizes and breeds.

Harbor Hounds is an opportunity to enjoy a day of fun with neighbors, family and your furry best friend and also give back to the community by supporting the many community charities supported by the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor Midday. This event includes a dog walk, vendors, food trucks, dog agility course, face painting for the kids and even some fun contests to show off your dog’s talents. Categories include: Best Tricks, Best Kisser (the dog!), Best Tail Wagger, Best Dressed and a fun musical Sit and Stay contest.

You can participate as an event sponsor, which provides you an opportunity to set up a tent and promote your organization at Skansie Brothers Park, or you can register your dog for the event and enjoy a leisurely walk along Gig Harbor’s beautiful waterfront. Each registered dog receives a doggie bandana and a wag bag filled with coupons, giveaways, toys and gadgets provided by the participating sponsors.

Join us for Love a Pit Bull Day and the 2024 Bully Walk! The event will be held at Heritage Park (5th and Water Street lawn) on Saturday, September 21. The bully walk will begin at 10:30 am, and the main event is from 11-2.

Come see Old Dog Haven at Auburn’s Petpalooza on Saturday, May 18, 10am – 5pm at Game Farm Park in Auburn. In addition to a 9:30am Dog Trot 3K/5K Fun Run, there’s loads to see and do including live entertainment, stunt dog shows and other animal attractions. The festival features a no barrier petting zoo, face painting and other children’s activities, a food court and beer garden, an agility area, over 150 vendors and TONS more! We hope to see you there!

What is Auburn's Petpalooza? An event for pet lovers and a special day for your four-legged family member or other furry friend. The event kicks off with the 9:30am Dog Trot Run Run. The event, free to attendees, also includes live entertainment, the All-Alaskan Racing Pigs, Frisbee dog activities, Mud Bay's Northwest Pet Contest, inflatable rides and other children’s activities, pet adoptions, a variety of vendors, a Food Court and Beer Garden, and lots of activities to keep both humans and pets entertained. Vendor opportunities are available from 10am - 5pm. Pre-covid attendance was 12,000+!
