Meet Becky, a nine-year-old Lhasa Apso with a thick curly coat, as soft as it is long. Becky can use the term “Golden Girl” literally as her creamy-golden coat compliments her golden age. Becky enjoys laid-back walks and plopping down into grassy patches to sun herself if the weather permits. If you scratch her right in front of her tail, she will love you forever! Becky would enjoy an easy-going companion to trot along with, while she satisfies her curious nose. In her previous home, Becky lived with both dogs and cats and did great, though she can be intimidated by larger dogs. Her former owners also indicated that she was house trained.  Becky can be a bit talkative when left alone, so she needs a home that is not an apartment. Becky doesn’t like to share her food, and can be nervous around lots of activity, so a home without kids under 12 would be best for her. Like many senior dogs, Becky has a few medical conditions that will require treatment to keep her feeling her best. The shelter vet team will be happy to talk with you further about keeping Becky comfortable. Becky is looking for her forever home, come see her today!

Becky is available for adoption at Kitsap Humane Society- 9167 Dickey Rd NW in Silverdale, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
