“I’m Freddy!  I’m a mini-Schnauzer, who is 10 years old. They say I’m in good health, all my vaccinations are up-to-date, I’m neutered and house-trained.  I know a few commands.  I’m a good eater and I love to “talk” with my foster Mum.  I have a wide variety of chortles, aroos, barks, groans and assorted wee noises running up and down the scales but I just can’t master English!  That’s all right as we still have great conversations when we get started.

“I don’t have a great coat and I have a wild beard and eyebrows (maybe a little gel would work wonders on them) so foster Mum says I always looks like I have “morning beard!”  I might need a sweater in the winter when it’s cold out.  And I’ll need occasional groomings and pedicures.

”You’ll always know if someone is at the door before they can ring the bell! (I’ve got a big pair of ears and hear very well!) I love to snuggle in bed at night and get my pets and scratches.  I don’t like to be left alone very much as my previous owner kept me in a crate during they day when they worked and I slept in the crate at night.  So I have a little separation anxiety but I’m getting better all the time.  I’m staying with other dogs so it’d be great if you had another dog or two.

”Foster Mum feeds me a grain-free diet (currently Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream) so I need to stay on a high quality grain-free food.  I have a little arthritis in my hips so foster Mum gives me a dollop of GP (Golden Paste – made from turmeric) in my evening meals and that really helps.  (I’m sure she’ll give you the easy recipe if I come live with you.)

”I’m ready for my forever home and will follow you everywhere so if you think we’re a good match be sure to fill out the adoption application please!”
