Please note: The dogs in ODH's Final Refuge care are not adoptable due to medical reasons and all are in permanent homes. Your sponsorship supports the veterinary expenses for these dogs - and we thank you!

Thanks to Old Dog Haven, Kitty came to us in December of 2022 at the age of 14. She had recently lost her home when her owner moved to a long-term care facility.
We had never fostered an Old Dog Haven dog before & weren’t sure exactly what to expect, but we immediately fell in love with Kitty!
She is one of the sweetest & best-behaved dogs we’ve ever seen! She fit in immediately with our other dogs & cats, as if she’d lived here forever! She has impeccable house manners & tries so hard to always please us! She is truly a darling girl!
Kitty is in overall good health at her present age of 15 after having a major dental!  She had to have 14 teeth extracted but can still eat fine. Speaking of eating, we are working on slimming her down & she is slowly beginning to shed a little weight.
Kitty does show signs of arthritis & has been approved to begin a new, high-quality (and expensive) medication to help with her mobility. We very much appreciate Old Dog Haven’s commitment to providing the very best medical care & treatment for all of their dogs.
We hope to have Kitty in our lives for many more years! She brings us so much joy! We’re honored to be her final refuge family! Thank you, Old Dog Haven!
