Leo

Leo is a young senior with so much to offer! He is an 80 pound shepherd mix who turns 9 years old in December. Leo is a fun, active dog who is very well behaved. He is good with other dogs and but he’s not friendly with cats. Leo needs a home without young children.

Leo is fine to stay alone inside while his people are away. He can “hold it” for quite a few hours but it’d be nice if he found a home where he didn’t have to wait long hours to relieve himself.  Leo is excellent on leash and know how to heel. He loves to explore off leash and we’re told he will stay close to his person, checking to be sure he can still see you. Of course, one would want to wait a bit before trying this post adoption.

This unique looking fellow with amazing ears bonds best with men. While he currently has a female owner, Leo seems to prefer men. He responds best to a calm, confident person. He went through training as a puppy and was #1 in his class. Leo was used as the example on graduation day, what a guy!

Leo is going to make someone a great pal. He’s ready for adventures, either as your co-pilot riding along in the car or going for long walks. Leo is a loving and loyal companion ready for his new home. Leo is located in Issaquah, WA.
