Magoo

Magoo was found as a stray. He was in pretty rough shape, but he has been fully vetted and nursed back to health to reveal a super sweet little old man. The vet he’s seen has estimated his age to be
about 12 years old.

Magoo is a mellow, loving cuddle bug. Despite his blindness he is able to easily adjust to the layout of a room and uses short ramps and stairs to the couch. Magoo weighs 19 pounds.   He will need to be carried up any large stairs and since he is fearless any stairs would have to be blocked so he would not injure himself. He enjoys car rides and short walks.  He likes to lay on his back with his legs up in the air!

Magoo is the king of pillows – he will find the pillows in a room and conquer them laying on the top in the lap of luxury. Magoo needs a calm home with adults not small children. He has done OK with other mellow dogs that let him be the main man, but he would also do great on his own. He will throw around small stuffed toys and is delighted by the squeaker when he chews them just right. He has proven to be a bit picky about his food and  will need someone who is dedicated to making sure he has eye drops twice daily and throughout the day.

He does OK being left alone for a few hours here and there and will greet you when you come home with so much joy, a hop and a serious wag of the tail.  Magoo is the quintessential old pug, and that is just perfect!
