ODH Home Found for Marbles – Shih Tzu Mix Girl
Very sweet little girl
FOUND – PERMANENT FOSTER/PERHAPS HOSPICE ODH HOME: Not spayed female shih tzu (?mix?), heavy at 19#. This little dog came into the shelter “stray” with mammary masses that can be removed (often there are others not seen yet) and needing to be spayed. Soon the vets found a mass in her armpit that is growing and seems likely to be a soft tissue sarcoma that really couldn’t be removed. If that is the diagnosis, it will grow fairly quickly and eventually hamper her movement and comfort too much. Her bloodwork is pretty normal, so if she “only” needs to be spayed and have mammary masses removed she might do very well. Shelter foster home says she is a nice little dog who is living fine with two other dogs, seems housebroken and can handle some stairs, very quiet girl. We need to get her into an ODH home ASAP so she can have the vet care she needs – her prognosis is really in question at this time.
