“My only crime??!! I love to steal socks and hide them or bury them in my bed! HA!!!
Hi! My name is Mia and I am a 10 year old, 15 pound maltipoo. My person passed away recently so I am hoping to find an adoptive home as soon as one can be found. Family has taken me in but they can’t keep me forever. Surely there must be someone out there who can?!

“I have lived with another dog and I have been very well socialized. I enjoy new doggy friends. I have not lived with cats though. Kids are fun, as long as they are gentle to me.

“I like to be around my people and dog friends. I’d love it if my new family were home more often than not but when they have to leave, I’d hope to have a doggy friend or two to keep company with. I was used to sleeping with my person but I can’t do that where I am now so they give me a pill to help me not be so anxious. Maybe you’d let me sleep in the bed with you? If not, I do want to at least be able to sleep in the same room!

“Walks are so much fun! I get to go on lots of walks and I hope to continue that. I will show my new people what a good girl I am on leash. I can do stairs and hold it for about 4 hours during the day before I need a potty break. I will bark to let you know when someone comes to the door-so helpful, right?!

“I’m really a couch potato most of the time, just hanging out, loving life. People are GREAT! I get so excited when I see the people I love. I do this trick that makes everyone smile and laugh-I get up on my back feet and jump up and down with my front paws bouncing in the air.

“At 10 years old, you can say I’m a young senior. I feel as though I have so much life to live and love to give. I just need someone who will afford my vet care, good dog food and regular grooming. In exchange, I’ll do my best to make a great addition to your family!”
