Romeo

Handsome Romeo is a 10-year-old mixed-breed fellow who weighs 90 pounds. Romeo is all about his humans. His person passed away, leaving him homeless. Romeo is ready to find his next true love!

Romeo would be happiest as someone’s one and only dog. We are told he has lived with other dogs but can be uncertain when meeting new dogs. While he has never lived with a cat before, he has not reacted to those he has come across. Romeo LOVES kids! He sounds like a dog who could make a wonderful addition to a home with respectful, gentle children.

After time to settle into a new home, Romeo has been fine staying in his home alone when the humans leave the house. He can manage a few hours between potty breaks. Romeo will keep your couch warm while you are away and welcome you back upon your return. This is a happy boy who has a terrific wiggle to him when he is excited.

Getting out for a walk a day is something Romeo really enjoys. He is reportedly good on leash. Because he is a large dog, one should be comfortable managing his size. At this time, Romeo can take stairs, and we are told he does not appear to have any arthritis. We would recommend joint supplements for Romeo that could keep him moving well.

Romeo has had a recent veterinary check by his caregivers. We are told he needs a daily allergy medication to keep him comfortable. Romeo’s adopter should be able to provide him with lifelong veterinary care and good-quality dog food.

Described as a laid-back, kind, gentle boy who just wants to sit with you. Romeo sounds like a truly special boy who is deserving of another chance at happiness in a forever home.
