Roxie is a Staff Pick at Homeward Pet! “This gal has quickly become my best dog friend with her easy going personality and love for quiet afternoons. Don’t let Roxy’s age deter you; she still loves to go out for walks and relax in the sun.” -Danielle, Homeward Pet Adoption Counselor

Roxie is a 10 year old Rat Terrier mix, who weighs a little over 13 pounds. She would be the perfect dog for someone that wants a small and quiet companion. Roxie doesn’t demand much, but she would like a loving home to spend her golden years in. This lovely little terrier is said to enjoy toys, and may know a few commands like sit, beg, and speak. She has been a bit more bashful in the busy shelter environment, so she would like to find a quieter home where she could blossom. Roxie lived with other dogs previously and did great with them, although she doesn’t like to share her food or toys with them. She also lived with cats and did well. Roxie has lived with kids over 12 years old; she does fine with older kids that pet and play with her gently. Roxie is a mild-mannered gal that would love to snuggle up with you, but will need some time to settle in and get comfortable before you see her lovely personality shine. Roxie has Cushings disease and will need to be on meds for the rest of her life and get regular testing to monitor her condition.

You can meet Roxie at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
