Teddy

Meet Teddy! Teddy is a very sweet older boy, 8+ years old, who came to the Jefferson County shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. When Teddy arrived he had a skin condition and some hair loss. He has been improving with medication and medicated baths, and will do well with grain-free food and regular flea prevention medication. Teddy is an older boy who has some arthritis and would do best in a home without a lot of stairs. This boy likes hanging out with people and short, relaxed leash walks. He has been around cats and children (ages 5+ best). Teddy appears to be fine around other dogs; he’s not kenneled with any but has shown no reactivity while walking past them. Teddy is a great dog!
