These two adorable little shih tzu mix girls need a patient home together! Tisha (the darker-eared one) is about 10 and 7 pounds; her sister Tracie (with lighter ears and face) is about 12 and only 6 pounds. They were found wandering 2 days apart in exactly the same remote location, and they’ve depended on each other to get through that terrifying abandonment and a shelter stay. They are healthy, have had dentals, are crate-trained, and still fearful of some things.

Tisha is a happy little girl but lots of things are scary still; she’s afraid of heights so going down stairs is a problem. Tracie is a little lovebug once she trusts you, likes to be in your lap and wants to be loved. They ignore the other dogs in their foster home (Tracie is quite shy with new ones); they’ve not been tested with cats but we can’t imagine that would be a problem. They both will follow you around the house and are happy to greet you, but still are skittish enough of scary things that they need to be able to scurry back to the comfy crate they share.

These tiny girls are looking for a quiet adult home and someone who will help their confidence blossom. How could you possibly resist those adorable little faces? They are in foster care in Brier, Washington, just waiting to meet you.
