“Hi there! My name is Mathilda and I am ready to waltz right into your life and home! I can’t say how I ended up roaming a random neighborhood but I was very lucky that a nice man saw me and brought me to a vet clinic. There I was checked for a microchip. Unfortunately no one ever bothered to microchip me so no one knows who I belonged to!

“The shelters everywhere are full right now. The people at the vet clinic know this so they reported me as “found” to the shelter and posted everywhere in hopes my owner would see me and claim me. Sadly no one has shown up…But I’ve been kept safe here at the vet clinic. The people here are SO nice but I can’t stay here forever so they want to help me find a new home.

“A vet here has checked me over. They are saying I’m about 9 years old. I weigh 73 pounds. People here say I’m a lovely brindle mixed breed dog. The vet thinks I am spayed and that I seem healthy. My hearing isn’t perfect though but they tell me that happens as a dog matures.

“While I’ve been hanging out here at the clinic, lots of dogs walk by my kennel run. I never react! I am a very good girl. I don’t have a problem with the cat who lives here at the clinic either.

“I stay all night in my kennel when everyone goes home for the night and when they come back in the morning, I am so happy to see them all! I have never soiled my kennel run once. No one here has even heard me bark.

“The kind people here have started taking turns bringing me to their homes on the weekends! Because of their kindness, they can now share that I have been good in homes with other dogs and cats. I even went to one home where there were horses and rabbits. I thought those were interesting but didn’t react at all!

“Now I can also share that I can do stairs!
I really enjoy car rides too. It’s been so nice leaving the kennel with my friends from the vet clinic. I can’t do this forever so everyone is still hoping to find me an adoptive home soon. I will try my best to be the best dog ever!”
